Excellent Value for Panasonic

Pros: Excellent color depth, affordable compared to the Sony XBR and higher priced brands

Cons: Needs space to breath. These models generate heat.

I purchased the 42 inch version from an online retailer (Abes of Maine) for 200-300 less than what major retailers (Sears) charge for the same model. The 20:000 to 1 constrast ratio is fantastic, and the color depth is much better than my father's Sony DLP HD-TV. Having both front and rear HDMI inputs is an added touch, and the unit fit nicely on my existing furniture. The only drawback is the heat, which can be resolved by positioning the unit farther away from a wall. Be sure to buy a very good power conditioner/surge protector!!! ...
