Bulworth Rocks...er, Raps!

I couldn't agree with the both of you more...this is an incredibly good movie. It's probably the most astute film about the state of modern day politics I've ever seen. Kudos to Beatty for such a masterpiece! ... -

Inspired Fretwork
2 of 4 Yahoo! Users found this review helpful I am such awe of the solos that Eric cranks off with such ferocity. All in all, I think his songs are so-so (wish that his songs had a tad more bite them), but his prowess on the guitar is just incredible! On "Ah Via Musicom" the song "Desert Rose" is the one that bowls me over everytime I listen to it, it alone is worth the "price of admission," so to speak. Damn, that's some raucous playing! It's sort of a fusion of Hendrix and some really great classical scales...wow! ... -

A Timeless Classic!
The music on this release jumps right out of the speakers of your stereo. The arrangements are absolutely superb, probably some of the finest moments ever caught in the studio. Lyically, it's tough, street-smart, endearing, and as sophisticated with its imagery as anything Springsteen ever hoped to write (and I'm a big fan of "The Boss.")Coupled with vocals that would have made Marvin Gaye shiver with delight! America's alleged radio program directors dropped the ball when they overlooked this gem. This is very highly recommended! ...

Pros: A Rock Classic!
Cons: Doesn't fully encompass their body of work
This is one fantastic Live album / disk. The only downside to this recording was that their sadly overlooked "Schoolboys in Disgrace" album wasn't better represented ("The Hard Way" being the only cut delivered.) It is totally beyond me why songs like the rolicking "20th Century Man" (which should be a considered a classic,) and the moving "Celluloid Heroes" didn't get airplay on the radio. I've been listening to Rock for over thirty years, and this is one of the best Live albums....ever! ...
