I love my samsung t509

Cons: no flash, others have hard time hearing me sometime
The t509 was my second phone by samsung. The first was the e715, which I really loved, but it was getting old and the screen was getting hard to see...plus I wanted a phone with a camcorder.
So I got the t509. I really like how thin the phone is. I thought the buttons might be too small, but they havent been a problem, except for the clear button. It is smaller than the others and sometimes my fingers slip.
I really like the camera and all the options (except no flash! my e715 had a great flash). There are lots of ways to play with the pics...add borders or emoticons, etc. The camcorder is neat.
I am a textaholic, and this phone is the best for that! The instant messaging on this phone is great. It is a lot easier to navigate than other phones I have used.
One of the only problems i have had with this phone is that several times people have had trouble hearing me. It could be that the phone is so small that you have to hold it just the right way. I move the phone around a little or put earpiece in and that solves it.
Bottom line...I love this phone! So many people have seen me use it and made a comment about how cool it looks! ...

Blackberry Pearl
Pros: The features (esp address book and calendar), suretype, and camera
Cons: Battery Cover, Problems Freezing
This is the first Blackberry I have ever owned, and after much time getting used to it, I finally decided that I really love it.
At first I was having major problems with the phone freezing. I thought it was because I chatted too much with it. I would be chatting with yahoo and blackberry messenger, plus sending sms and mms...the phone would hourglass and nothing would help except taking the battery out and rebooting. I backed the phone up, wiped it clean, and restored it...and havent had any problems since. I guess I got a virus or something on it and that took care of it.
I love the features the BB has, the address book and calendar, to me, make this phone far more amazing than all of my previous phones. I can select a person from my address book and choose whether to email them, sms or mms them, pin them if they have a bb, or look up their address or whatever other info i have saved under their name. I can also have a picture of them in their info.
The calendar is easy to use and has an alarm to remind me of things. I can view by day or week or month.
The only thing I miss is having a camcorder, but I got a new camera that does video clips, so that is not a problem anymore. I also dont like how cheap the battery cover feels. If I drop my phone, it pops off and my battery comes out and I have to reboot and wait for it to start up again. I bought a cover for my phone, so hopefully that will keep the cover from coming off like that.
This phone never leaves my side! It stores everything I need and helps me at work. All of my emails come staight to my phone without me having to sign in to a website, and that makes pulling orders and shipping so easy. I can carry my phone around the warehouse and see what I need to get straight from my phone.
I am very glad my friend talked me into getting this phone. ...
