A great dvd recorder !

I bought this DVD recorder in October of 2003 and had no problems what so ever. I've recorded well over 300 times and its recorded every time with no glitches . This machine is so much better than the other dvd recorders I read about. The other machines I read about ( many ) couldn't record consistently without a glitch. The sony recorder records every time and is well worth the price. I'm very very very satisfied ! ...

One of the best war movies

Its terrible movies like this aren't in the top 100 movies made. Its terrible that a movie like this takes a back seat to movies like saving private ryan and all the other modern day mediocre movies. If your looking for good movies, try netflix. 15000 dvd's for rent. For $20 you can rent as many as you can watch a month. I get about 15 movies a month for $20. Free shipping back and forth. ... -

Great sci-fi movie
This movie was great. I love to watch Vincent Price . He's the king of horror. It was funny that Price could sleep in that house with all the zombies outside. If Price can sleep through that, I can sleep too! It was a great value for $ 3.63. You can get 2 movies, house on haunted hill and last man on earth , for about $4.00 on Yahoo shopping. Don't buy movies at your local store. You save on the internet movies. ... -

Another Hollywood flop
I saw this movie today, I thought it was terrible. Todays movie directors have absolutly no talent. As usual with todays movies, there's too much hi-tech action and no story. The old war movies are much better.

Crime wave collection
I bought this video because it seemed like a good value. 10 movies on dvd is pretty good. The movies are real good. They are really interesting to watch. These movies are about 25 to 45 years old and are a little faded but are good movies to watch. Alot of big stars are in these movies like Kirk Douglas, Ernest Borgnine, Joe Pesce, James Brolin, Michael York, Anthony Quinn, James Cobrun, Morgan Fairchild....... The taxman was wonderful
I'm from the NY metro area and a former NY state tax auditor so naturally I liked this movie alot. I'm familiar with the neighborhood where it took place. This movie is extremely realistic right down to the last detail. Only a NY'er could appreciate a movie like this.
Joe Pantalione was marvelous in this movie as Tax investigator Al Benjamin. To me , I think Joe Pants gave a much better performance in this movie than he did in the Sopranos. ... -

Thirteen days
I saw this movie last January while on vacation in Florida. This movie is the best movie Hollywood has made in a while.
This movie didn't get all its due. Instead , it took back seat to Traffic, which I feel was marginal at best. It had no direction!
Thirteen days was well acted and the story itself was a great one to tell.
Robert Greenwood, the actor who played JFK looked Just like JFK.
If you haven't seen the movie, rent it or buy it. Its one of the best! ... -

The General is a must see movie.
I love this movie so much. To a train enthusiast like myself , this is like going back in time to the Civil war. The Locomotives used were identical to the ones used during that era. Simply amazing to be able to watch them in action. The movie itself was superbly acted and was well written. Silent movies with a good story are great to watch. ...

Very realistic war movie

I really enjoyed this movie alot ! Its very realistic and the acting was great. They even filmed the movie in Peterburg Russia so you almost get the feeling its 1945 Berlin.
I've seen lots and lots of war movies, this movie stands out as one of the best I've ever seen. Too bad this movie didn't get the attention it deserves, Americans missed a great movie in my opionion. ...
