Alien (1979)
Pros: Atmospheric, dark film.
Cons: None to think of.
I first saw Alien at the cinema in 1980, and it has always been a firm favourite. As time goes on, it gets harder to find the single disc edition amongst all the double discs, quardrilogies, AVPs etc. But Alien on its own does not need sequels.
The only mystery to solve is what was the being found on board the abandoned spacecraft: an Alien, or alien? ...
