Cons: Customer service sucks
My 13 year old daughter bought the FE-110 camera from Olympus and right from the start it didn't work right. They told me I would have to send it in for repair. I printed the necessary papers fromt he internet, filled them out as I was instructed to do. On the line that asks what items were included with the camera I listed that there was a memory card. Well, Olympus sent the repaired camera back to my daughter WITHOUT the memory card. I called and talked to 3 different people. Everyone of them, in short, told me that my paper work means nothing because if I faxed them the copies of the papers that I could just fill anything in. They cannot find my original paperwork because they throw thme away. They implied that I was lying and that the card would "only cost $12.99 ma'am, its not like you are out alot of money". This company will not preplace the memory card. I am very angry. We will not purchase another product from Olympus and I sure hope we don't ever have to send my daughters camera in for repair again. So beware if you ever have any repair issues with this company, they will not believe a word you say. ...
