Basically a compilation of other wu albums
Pros: Has a lot of great wu songs that didn't recieve the attention they deserved
Cons: Some songs were plainly "no good" and the good songs are from other albums
I've explored countless wu albums and when i stumbled across this one i noticed something strange. A group of the songs are off older wu albums (ex: 4th chamber is off of liquid swords by the gza). this is a good cd if you want some of the good unknown wu songs on one album, but it could have been better. The main wu members are always on point with the lyrics (with the exception of Capadonna [garbage]) so this album doesn't disapoint in that aspect, but some songs have weak beats and others have weak rhymes because the other wu affiliates are on the mic, too. If you crave everything Wu-tang, i recommend this album, but make sure you take a listen to the music on this album first, cause that bad songs may ruin it entirely for you. ...

The second best quest album
Pros: Tribe's unique sound shines here
Cons: few songs that i could do without
This and their first album are my favorite ones. The tribe never ceases to amaze me. After the low end theory i thought they had nowhere to go but down, but this album proved me wrong. They were able to piece together an album to rival their best, which is hard to do for any group. Once again, Q-tip lays down his mic skills and fife dawg accompanies him with some amazing rhymes of his own. After this, besides anthology, the only decent album is the love movement. Don't pass this album up. ...

People's Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm
by A Tribe Called Quest | MusicPrice: $6.83 to $11.99 Compare PricesJanuary 12, 2006
Deserves a better rating than 4 stars
Pros: Quest laid down one masterful production after another
Cons: try and show me
I think this is the best quest album, but that's my opinion. Q-tip rips up this entire album and fife dawg sounds great, though he is a little overshadowed by Q-tip. Bonita applebum and rhythym (devoted to the art of movin butts) are two great songs, and there are others that deserve recognition, but those two just come to mind. anyways, this, the low end theory, and midnight marauders are the best albums they've made. Of course anthology is a good album if you want a small overview of a great group. ...

what the hell, this is 5 STARS!
Pros: Every song seems like it would be the single
Cons: none
What the hell! this cd definetly deserves 5 stars because it is the best and Static X never sounded this great ever again. Hopefully, you people searching for a static x album will see this review and give this cd a try. Listen to this album first then try to listen to the others, then you'll know how i felt. yeah, that greatness you were used to will be gone. This is the album for those seeking something from static X. ...

Probably AZ's best album
Pros: One great song after another
Cons: here and there you find a not-so-great song
I was lucky to find about this artist here. I checked out some of his other albums first and was pretty impressed, but this one blew me away. Most of my favorite songs from AZ are on this album. AZ has a production style like no other and lyrics to match. Him and Nas have done quite a few songs together and nas is probably the closest comparison to AZ (the older nas ["Illmatic" but doe or die is even better]). This is a must for any hip hop fan who knows what talent is. ...

The best incubus album easy
Pros: Great funked out music that is unique to any other incubus album
Cons: Too short
Another album that showed great potential but was lost to the mainstream. Incubus is still pretty good if you want to hear something mellow, but this album was just raw talent by great musicians. If only they could've made one or two more albums like this one, but at this point in time i see that as highly unlikely.Well, get this if you want to hear a great and unique side of incubus. ...

The only good S.O.A.D. album
Pros: Great message and sound
Cons: none
I was pretty young when i first heard this album and i continually listened to it all the way through. This album is what system of a down should have stayed as. Unfortunately, they became mainstream on toxicity and ruined it all for me. Basically every song is great and unique. Get this album and no other system of a down album. ...

Masta ace just cant make a bad album
Pros: Great lyrics
Cons: A lot of other artists, thus not a lot of masta ace himself
Not his best but here and there you stumble across some great songs. This and "A long hot summer" are much different from his first albums, but that isn't a bad thing. I'm still not sure which sound is better but the sound on this album is a must for masta ace fans. ...

This and firme were the peak of their career
Pros: Great punk sound along with masterful trumpets to create this real ska
Cons: some songs just aren't up to par
This would get five stars, but the bad songs show that this cd wasn't destined to be great. This is the skulls at their hardest. After firme you will still find good songs but there is a drastic change in the music and vocals. Get this firme, band geek mafia, and you'll be set. ...
Took time but it grew on me
Pros: Mos def is great on the mic and production is different from the norm
Cons: you may not like his style
Mos def is one who is obviously proud of his heritage, and there is nothing wrong with that. you will encounter a good amount of it in his lyrics. Mos def creates songs that are perfect in their own imperfection. This album is one to be patient with and truly appreciate. If you liked q-tip from a tribe called quest, you will probably like mos def. this, in my opinion, is his best album so far. ...
