Pros: Smokies sincerity comes through in most of the album songs
Cons: The "Rap" song does not appeal to me personally
There are several artists that I could listen to and not get tired, such as Darryll Cooley, Shirley Ceasar, Fred Hammond, Richard Smallwood and others too numerous to mention here. Smokie now ranks amoung them. Being a singer and gospel recording artist myself, I can identify with the messages of those singing for the Lord. Having seen Smokie sing live on Gospel Celebration (hosted by Steve Harvey) and Soul Train, I am convinced that he is "real" for God. My prayers are with you, my brother. Stay strong in the Lord and don't let the "money of the R&B world" tempt you to hypocrisy. "Life is not promised" such that one would be able to spend it. God bless. ...
