Battery Life awful

Cons: Battery does not hold a charge
I purchased this unit and was initially impressed. I was able to mow my yard and it was quiet and also pollution free. However, within three weeks I had to return the mower as the battery would not hold a charge. The store where I purchased allowed me to swap and I continued to be happy as the new mower battery would last approximately an hour (which is how long it takes me to do my yard). Sadly as time went on the battery held a charge for fewer and fewer minutes, until it would not cut for more than 10 minutes without being attached to a cord - which negated the reason I had purchased this model. Contacting the manufacturer is difficult (no mail address, only email). While a 2 year warranty is implied I fear there is none on the battery and the cost of it is over $100. ...
