Al Pacino's favourite
Pros: Actors, Music, Plot, Twists
Cons: Ending
From the Argentinian tango 'Por una Cabeza', the lead theme of this master piece is the first item in the long list of good points about this wonderful movie.
We all know Al Pacino's capability of making a role his own and once again, he has managed to take control of the personality of the coronel, a man with no respect for society or its boundaries. Leading a young pupil through a short but significant moment in his life, we see the emotions of a true hero: a man full of flaws and complex with no happy ending.
Chris O'Donell acts really as the naive young boy. His soul really seems pure, as Al Pacino states in a part of the movie, he's the perfect work in progress that will try everything to convice his guide that life is worth living.
The unforgettable tango scene makes along with the other points, a must-see between anyone with a bit of taste in movies.
