Pros: Easy to use

Cons: Doesn't work

I bought this direct from Sony, as a refurb. Worked for 1 week before the video went out, no picture. After speaking to 6 Customer Service reps and a Tech support guy who wanted me to troubleshoot (like I don't know how to use a VCR!) they graciously alowed me to return it. ...

Any Beatles/Lennon fan should own this CD. While not quite the masterpiece that POB was due to some lesser attempts at making a "statement" that haven't aged as well, still it's an honest album, free of the overly-slick production that tended to gloss over the content of later albums like Mind Games and the ingenuous sloganeering of Sometime In NYC. The melodies are equal to any that Paul McCartney has written, the lyrical content deeper and more personal. Buy this first for an introduction to John's work, then if you need more buy Plastic Ono Band. ...
