Cons: Can't handle CD-RWs, Clock doesn't work well
This Pyle was a replacement for a previous Pioneer CD receiver that I had stolen from car. It sounds just as good as Pioneer and was easy to install. The only real problems I've had with it are that I sometimes get static on it, but this hardly occurs. If you get it, just reset it and drive around awhile and it sounds like normal again. The clock on mine doesn't seem to work well. The time gets further and further behind. Then again, I care more about playing CDs, which is what this player excels at. The laser on it isn't up to par with Pioneer, Sony, Blaupunkt, or other top end players, but it does ok. Only thing it has difficulty with is CD-RWs. Unfortunately, nowadays, you're better off going with a Pyle than with a Pioneer or Clarion, since Pyle is relatively cheap if it gets stolen. If you live in rural area with little crime, I'd pass on this and go for Pioneer. If you live in a city like I do, go with this player. You won't be disappointed. ...
