Kept me guessing a bit
Pros: Interesting, unique characters, unique plot, believable dialogue
Cons: Near the end it was a little predictable but still kept me guessing
Nice read. Short read about a white young woman who refuses to go home to Alabama because she made a bargain with God. Now, she must return to her hometown and break her covenent with God. What plays out are her relationships with her family in Alabama, her black boyfriend in Chicago, and her relationship with her past. Really enjoyed it. ...

Wonderful characters in a beautiful setting
Pros: Believable Characters, descriptive scenery a feast for the imagination
Cons: As I find most romance novels - predictable
