Almost perfect

Pros: Good graphics, movies, cool vehicles and weapons

Cons: Controls are a bit hard to use; tank feels so clunky, and levels are fairly hard and frustrating.(you can control the settings though so that isn't really a problem

Listen up if you truly want to know about this game before you buy it read this review CAREFULLY and read ALL of it before buying it.

Star Fox Assault has great graphics and the sounds are pretty good. The plane u fly is awesome. Aerial combat is just phenomenol; some of the best flying games I have ever played. However the ground combat is where things get pretty stupid and exaggerated. When walking around without a vehicle; things are fairly good. You pick up guns in missions and power-ups. The ground weapons are pretty good, ranging from machine guns to rocket launchers. However the tank, aka the landmaster, is really, really bad. The hovering sequence on it goes sooooooooo slowly and the tank itself is hard to maneuver through small spaces. Plus it's pretty slow. Whenever you use the tank you might think of why they even put the thing into the game. But this is bearable, and the tank isn't THAT bad once you get used to it. Like I said the flying part of the game is just absolutely AWESOME! The ground person shooter is alright; pretty good, but the tank could use some work. For all you fans of Star Fox and it's previous games (Star Fox 64, Star Fox Adventures) This game IS for you. For all of you who like air to air combat this game is somewhat for you; just race through the ground levels. I am enjoying this game very much. By the way it does have multiplayer which seems sort of dumb; but that goes for most multiplayer games. ...
