Kinda disappointed
Man, I was stoked for this movie to come out on DVD. I was waiting and waiting. I was kinda disappointed though after seeing it. They had no character development whatsoever. The action still made it worthwhile, but I thought this movie could've been so much better. It's basically a 'Rambo' movie set in 2003. I give it two thumbs up, but it definitely is not DVD purchase material. Definite rent. ... -

Just extremely boring, and just wasn't very much fun to sit through. Yeah, it's got your 'jump out and scare you' parts'...but this movie was really weak! Sandra Bullock is awesome
Sandra Bullock is awesome. I think she's a wonderful actress, and she gets better and better with each movie she's in. Mr. Grant is a toolbox though. What a dork. All I can think of is him paying some nasty hooker to give him a BJ! ... -

Man.....not sure what to say about this

So scary it's disturbing!
Seriously...this movie is in a category of its own! I was flat out disturbed after this movie!! One of THE scariest movies I've ever seen. I really like suspense/horror movies, but this is in it's own classification. I loved the camera angles and the effects in this movie. If this movie doesn't give you goose bumps, you are one HARD person. I watched it last night and I freaked out every time the phone rang. Wonderfully put together film! ...

Cons: Story was absolutely stupid
Duplex had its moments with funny parts, but overall it was a pretty blah movie. That old lady got to the point of making me so mad that I was ready to off her myself. The ending was disappointing, and I just wasn't happy with the movie as a whole. I guess it's not a WASTE of money to rent, but make sure that you see all of the others on your 'must-see' list before this one. ...
