A musician's view
3 of 3 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulPros: Awesome new sound, great feel
Cons: May take a few listens to fully love it
OK, speaking as a musician, I get annoyed when I hear people say, "It's not the same thing as Crash or Remember Two Things or Under The Table..." because it SHOULDN'T be. If you want those songs, check out those albums, or Live at Red Rocks, Listener Supported, Central Park, Live at the Gorge, Live at Luther College, etc, etc, etc. Musicians are supposed to play what they feel...and as we grow as humans, our emotions and feelings grow with us. DMB has done an awesome job of producing an album that is about where they are in life now, and that's admirable. They aren't Creed, who makes the same album over and over again their entire career. This is an album of great musicians making great music. If you want to hear "Crash Into Me" again, just find someone with bootlegs...I probably have 25 versions of the song myself. Give this album a few listens, and if you don't get it, well, try to realize where they are in life, and appreciate it for what it is. ...
