Cons: battery life can be low, cost.
This laptop has got to be one of my favorites. The Macbook pro's now have an even faster processor and better graphics cards, which make all your games move faster and look better. I'm going into college this fall and this is definitely something I can grow into. I'm going to be pursuing a photography major and Apples are generally the industry standard for Arts.
My previous laptop was a Dell which was slowly on its way to its deathbed and didn't have much time left so this upgrade is a major improvement. This macbook has just about everything you need and then some. They give you trials of .Mac and aperture. Apple's standard warranty is also very good, but I recommend Applecare because that extends the warranty for three years, and problems usually occur after one or two.
The downside that I have found is battery life. I recommend turning the LCD brightness all the way down because it decreases the lifespan so much. This laptop is a great buy though for anyone getting into the arts or other field. ...
