Great for raw beginners
Pros: It's easy to stick with
Cons: I disagree with the amount of sugar that's considered "okay" such as ketchup and sauces at barbecues.
I've been a successful raw foodist for over 3 years and I am now 100 percent raw.
I think the book is great for beginners or people curious about the raw food lifestyle.
The author is realistic and not full of dogma and preaching (as a lot of raw foodists are known to do). Her views are similar to author, raw foodist Carol Alt.
My biggest disappointment was when I read the author saying it was okay to use ketchup or barbecue sauces.
Those items are loaded with heavily processed sugars (corn syrup, fructose, etc.) and should not be a part of a healthy lifestyle. ...
