garmin 525s
Pros: super clear screen easy to use amazing features
Cons: color on navigation chart kinda hard to see
If you have any Garmin or competitive plotter/sounder that doesn't have garmins new g2 vision technology go to you're boat, take it out, throw it away and order the garmin 525s. I looked at a lot of units before choosing this one and could not be more satisfied. the unit is easy to use but does take some getting used to not having very many buttons. This means you have to go through a few sub screens to get to some information. the satellite pictures are amazing, the 3d fih eye view makes if real easy to see where you are on the bottom. one recommendation I have if you are comparing other Garmin units, spend the extra money for the better screen resoloution it is well worth is when navigating and using the sounder. ...
