Very good movie!
Masterpeices are 5 stars. I give this 4 & 1/2.
This is my favorite DVD. I'm glad the cast has been contracted for 2 more!
This movie is a ride! The setting, the special effects and even acting is spectacular!
When I watch a Sci-Fi movie I want to get caught up in it, an escape if you will.
This follows what I know of X-Men.. This
movie is about Wolverine not Cyclops or Jean Gray. Maybe the next...

Very good movie!
1 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this review helpful The book is excellent too! When they make a movie that is pretty close to the book, then you know you have a good thing. I saw this first about 20 years ago on Sunday Science Fiction theatre, and love disaster films like this! The acting is superb, the sci-fi part is superb, and although there were no special effects, the genious and well thought out matter makes me own this on Laserdisc and DVD.

Pretty mediocre movie
The book, excellent! If I were to direct it, I
would remove the little in the torn down shed with the magical gymnastic parallel bars scene, (somersault, swing, half-nelson, swing back, kick dinasour through window, dismount scene) and end it on the helicopter escape. The dinosaur in NY is almost slapstick and mindless and not even in the book. It went from pretty good to jaw-dropping "What the hell!" stupid.
I guess I'm a purist, I want what the author wrote. ...

I enjoyed Superman at age 12 and Superman 2 was great too! The special effects in 1 and 2 were pretty good for the time and I feel like it was the first to usher in some neat special effects! I enjoyed 1 & 2 and 3 made me hesitant on any triquel. ...
