Try your best and believe in yourself...
Pros: The movie scenes moved me close to tears!
Cons: ..."American Dream"...
This is an excellent film about the so-called "American Dream". Through hard work, more and more people are doing their best in order to achieve their goals in life, to reach the freedom that allows them to overcome the obstacles in their lives. But I think, in fact, the concept must be understood better and more deeply by foreigners than Americans themselves. The screenplay was based on the real story about the self-made millionaire Christopher Paul Gardner, who had struggled with homelessness while raising his toddler son; and the talented Will Smith was both the main actor and the producer of the film. I admit that the movie scenes seemed to move me close to tears, I admire the father and his efforts to keep his beloved family - the unlucky father and the little son - from being homeless and starving. The film demonstrated what a member of a minority has to do so as to be successful, to make their dreams come true. Life, in my opinion, was, is and will never be easy for anyone, in any time, and anywhere. We should always be hoping because everything'll be OK. Just try your best and you'll be able to live through even the worst heartbreak. I learned that from the film. ...

A Nice Movie About Northern-European Mythology...
0 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulPros: Repenting is never too late...
Cons: Worth Seeing...
There's been a very little number of movies about Northern-European mythology produced, and "Beowulf" is really a wonderful masterpiece about this subject... And the most special thing in the movie is that it was completely designed on three-dimensional graphic technique. I was really impressed by the image of the mother-monster when it was in human form, not only because the human form was based on the real Angelina Jolie, an extremely well-known and beautiful actress, but also because the producers made it so real and so seductive... And Beowulf was a real hero although he made some mistakes that weren't able to be forgiven; he tried his best to correct them, to save his beloved ones, to die in glory; he killed his monstrous-son but when he saw his son lying dead beside him, he smiled and gripped the hand of his son; the son is his shame, his lie, his fear, and just before shutting his eyes forever, he said "too late for lies"; I admired the warrior, because he dared to face up his shame and fear and fought against them in order to correct his mistakes... Only one thing that I wonder is whether Wiglaf, his closest friend, was seduced by the mother-monster and made the mistakes that Beowulf had made in living life... In general, this is a nice movie worth seeing... ...

A Nice Story...
Pros: Quite Romantic...
Cons: Worth Watching...
The story is about Victor, a bridegroom who happened to stop off at a desert forest in order to practise how to say an engagement promise. But the dry branch that he whispered to and practised putting a ring on turned out to be a corpse bride whose name was Emily. She had been killed just at her wedding by her bridegroom. When she heard Victor's whispers, she captured him into the underworld and constrained him to marry her, meanwhile his real bride, Victoria, was waiting hopelessly in the land of the living. Although life at the Land of the Dead was much more lively and colourful than the place where Victor had been born and grown up, he learned that there was nothing in this world, or even the next, that could keep him away from his one true love.
Finally, Victor found out a way to return to his real life without making Emily sad and disppointed. This is the romantic style which becomes very familiar in movies made by Tim Burton.
Though there are ghosts, corpses and overcast scenes in the film, I think it's not horrible. It's not only quite romantic but also of value on humanity education. It's a film worth watching... ... -

A Wonderful Set Of Book...
1 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulPros: The battle between The-Boy-Who-Lived and You-Know-Who...
Cons: "The scar had not pained Harry for nineteen years. All was well."
What I can say!? A wonderful book!!! I really love this final book because the author described the psychological changes of the trio Harry, Hermione and Ron so deeply. I'm especially impressed when reading the lines about what and how The-Boy-Who-Lived felt before challenges he had to face. He had changed, of course, from a boy who was protected by his mother's sacrifice to a hero who dared to die to kill the Dark Lord. And as Dumbledore said, Harry Potter is the best worthy master of the Deathly Hallows. During the book, Harry never ever thought of using the Killing Curse to murder any of his enemies; the Expelliar is one of his features, and I admire his humanity. He'll surely become a good Auror.
Just one thing makes me quite disappointed. I always thought the care that Hermione'd given to Harry since they met would develop more highly than a friendship... It should have been a love. Uhm, but that's OK. In general, I just wanna say that this set of book is really a masterpiece. I love it!!! ... -

A Story Full Of Human Culture And Humour!!!
Pros: A Nice Cartoon!!!
Cons: "The Earth has a skin and that skin has diseases, one of its diseases is called man"
The film was about the journey full of human culture and humour to back to the wild world of the 900-pound bear, Boog. This was an impressive hit of Sony Picture Animation at Christmas 2006, and it made US$ 23 million in its first week.
"Open Season" is a touching story about life, friendship and invaluable values of natural environment which was concretized through the journey of the silly and lovely bear, Boog (was voiced by Martin Lawrence) and the talkative deer, Elliot (was voiced by Ashton Kutcher). Being brought up by the forest-keeper, Beth (was voiced by Debra Messing), Boog had a comfortable and quiet life at the mountain area village, Timberline.
Boog met and made friends with Elliot, a deer which was extremely smart and usually laughed all the day. One day, Boog was seduced to drink heavily by Elliot and become devastative; so the forest-keeper Beth thought that it was time to take the bulky bear back to natural life. She used an airplane to carry Boog and Elliot to a far forest beside a mighty waterfall. And she hoped this would be a safe house for Boog.
Boog had to begin a new life without chocolate when he suddenly woke up in the forest. Boog had to adapt himself to the new life. Besides, he and his new friends had to resist bad hunters when the hunting season began. This was the first time in his life that he understood the great and generous nature-mother contained such a lot of dangers. And the most terrible thing to Boog and Elliot was the wicked hunter-guy, Shaw. How did the two intelligent and nice friends have to do in order to adapt themselves to the wild life which they had never known before? ...

"Everyone is special"...
Pros: Wonderful movie...
Cons: Too perfect to be complained about...
This is the best animated movie that I've ever seen. Adventurous, comic, and fantastic, a perfect movie. I love the Incredibles so much, they're wonderful just the way they're. They're so funny, which made me laugh out loud. The names of the characters in the movie were special; hear these names and you can tell what power the superheroes possessed. The movie was not only a comic cartoon for entertainment but also a very significant story. The Incredibles was a happy family; despite the problems they might encounter in their unusual and hidden life, they were always together. The word that the Elasticgirl said to her son and his reply to her made me think a lot, "Everyone's special." - "Which is another way of saying no one is." You can tell that the movie's message is that you don't have to try to be someone else, just be yourself, and use your own talents. Perhaps not everyone has real talent to make their life easier, but the message encourages them to do their best to reach their dreams, their goals, and to make their problems, maybe not be solved completely, but at least be better than leave them alone. ...
