This Frosty a true classic!
Pros: Artwork, voices, storyline, songs
Cons: None
The original 1969 Rankin-Bass Frosty the Snowman is a true classic. Full of warmth and joy, the artwork, voices (especially Jackie Vernon as Frosty), storyline and Jimmy Durante's rendition of Frosty's song are awesome!
Note to anyone reading this: "Frosty Returns" and the dreadful "Legends of Frosty" are not the true sequels to Frosty. Look up "Frosty's Winter Wonderland" and "Rudolph and Frosty's Christmas in July", the true sequels. ... -

The Boo Brothers are so cute!
Pros: Freako, the brown-haired Boo Brother with the yellow and orange ranger hat.
Cons: None I can think of.
I love this movie, especially the parts with those wonderfully wacky, Three Stooges-like Boo Brothers! My favorite Boo Brother is Freako: he's just too cute! I'm even using a pic of him for the tiled background of my Yahoo 360 page. The storyline is awesome, and I love the ending! Definitely the best Scooby Doo movie! ...

Virgin Tour video like having been at concert!
Pros: Pro-shot video of Madonna's first concert
Cons: Intro and ending obviously made after Virgin years
This video is awesome! Its like the hands of time have been turned back and you are at the actual concert! You even get to see an awesome performance of one of Madonna's rarities: "Gambler" from the Visionquest soundtrack. Fans of Madonna's early works from her "Like A Virgin"/
"Material Girl" days will love it. The only drawback is the intro and ending: they were obviously shot during Madonna's "True Blue" period. Otherwise, a great, nostalgic video! ... -

This brings back memories!
Pros: Endearing characters, storylines, artwork.
Cons: Special Features "Baby Felix" cartoons.
Wow, this DVD really brings back memories! I used to watch this as a kid when it was still on TV. Loved the fantasy theme, but the best part was cute Prince Arin. An awesome show! ...

"Galaxy High" is way cool!
Pros: Plot, storylines, characters, creativity
Cons: On TV it was so short-lived for such a great show
This video really brings back memories! I used to watch the TV show during its all too brief run in 1986-1987. Although Beef Bonk, the school bully, was my favorite character, Amy was the character I most identified with. On Earth, Amy was considered a nerd just because she was smart, but when she gets to Galaxy High (where smarts are valued over being a pretty-boy jock, like her fellow exchange student Doyle was) she becomes the popular, cool one while Doyle is now the nerd. It was cool seeing a fellow "nerd" like myself triumph over a jock. And the sci-fi setting was awesome an imaginative. And Don Felder's themesong was way cool! A rare 80's gem! ...

Selena a wonderful singer!
Pros: Selena's beautiful voice, great songs
Cons: That that Yolanda woman didn't get the death penalty for killing Selena.
I didn't even know about Selena until the arrival of the autobiographical movie starring J.Lo.
Didn't think much of the movie because I can9;t stand J.Lo, but Selena's music is excellent! She has such a gorgeous voice. My favorite song is "I Could Fall in Love": its so sweet and romantic. I think its sad that Selena's so-called "best friend" Yolanda murdered Selena over something that Yolanda did, and I think Yolanda deserves the death penalty for killing Selena. ... -

"Phantom Tollbooth" a rare gem!
Pros: The Chuck Jones version of the Humbug (he's just so darn cute!).
Cons: "What's to Become of Milo?" song
I have always loved this movie. The main reason I love it is the Chuck Jones/Daws Butler version of the Humbug (so cute, charming and funny). The only part I didn't like was the haunting "What's to Become of Milo?" song (its just creepy).
Its strange that this movie has never gotten credit for how great it is. In my mind "The Phantom Tollbooth" movie rules! ... -

"Like A Virgin" an awesome CD!
Pros: Great music and cover art
Cons: None
I love Madonna's "Like A Virgin" album. My favorite songs are "Material Girl" and of course,
"Like A Virgin". This is definitely Madonna's best video, from the best period of her career (don't mind me, but I believe Madonna's "Like A Virgin"/"Material Girl" look was her best look, and the music during the "Virgin" period is her best). Madonna rules! ...

A DVD set of HKP cartoons? Cool!
Pros: Features my favorite cartoon character, plus cool commentary.
Cons: None that I can think of.
I love the new Hong Kong Phooey DVD set! I am a major Hong Kong Phooey fan, so this set is a cool find. The packaging, DVD setup and the bonus features are awesome (loved the commentary on Scatman Crothers doing the voice of HKP). All in all, a must-have for Hong Kong Phooey fans. ...
