Very realistic
I was 4 when this movie came out. And I remember hearing the soundtrack on 8-track in my parent's '79 LeBaron on early road trips. I was strangely "tranced" by the music on it. Every time I watch it now it feels like it all comes together like Im there in that time period cause Its easy to relate to Tony and what he goes thru. Juggling between his friends, his family, his work & his one passion in life. For me it was all about cruisin my modified car on Saturday nights. Even though I rarely dance, I have a fun time watching this movie when I get the chance..., I give it 4 starz. ... -

Livin on the Edge.....
0 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this review helpful We've all lived on the edge at one time or another and this movie is an intense reflection...Crispin Glover is dazzling as a coked out fiend trying to weigh out rescuing his friend John (Samson) who murdered his girlfriend & listening to his friends who want him to go to the police. Dennis Hopper provides credible backbone to this movie playing a fugitive on the run for more than 20 years, that the kids turn to for advice in helping their troubled friend. Kianu Reeves & Ione Skye also star. ... -

Good to own...
This DVD contains two movies for the price of one! Side one has the original "pilot" episode released in 1977 and side two has the "married" episode from 1978. Both movies are an hour & a half. You could watch them both together to make a 3hr movie. The pilot episode is much like the movie that was released this year with Dr Banner being exposed to gamma radiation & becoming the Hulk when frustrated. I like the TV movie much better than the one released this year on the big screen. Lou Ferrigno gives us a human side of the Hulk that u dont really get with computer animation. Speaking of Lou, one of the bonus features of the DVD includes his introduction to the 2 TV movies where he talks about being the hulk and his background before he got into television. Theres also a feature w/director Ken Johnson commentating during the movies. Although the movies are dated. I enjoyed watching them better that the actual big screen movie. I give it 4 out of five. ... -

Good performances!
Good performances all-around from an all star cast that includes; Brendan Frasier, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck & Chris O'Donnell. Much better than other movies of the genre like Taps or Dead Poets Society. ... -

I agree...
I actually liked this movie more than "Fast times at Ridgemont High" Eddie Van Halen has some cool scores in this one. Chris & Eric are funny too. -

This is great...
One of the all-time greatest heist films of all-time! Where else can u get Ed Norton, Robert Deniro & Marlon Brando to turn in Oscar caliber performances?!? I bought this DVD literally right after I rented it at Blockbuster. ...

This one's the best!
Probably the best sequel in the long running series. Jason is virtually indestructable & brutal in part 6!
