Collection of George Benson's Hits.
Pros: Favorite songs.
Cons: No New Songs.
I loved this cd because it has a collection of George Benson's songs from This Masquerade to Standing Together. I loved his version of The Greatest Love of All that definitely is great as Witney Houston's version, his duet with Aretha Franklin, Give Me The Night, and others.
This cd definitely is a great introduction for new fans of GB and a treasure for fans as well. ... -

Excellent CD.
6 of 7 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulPros: Truly The Best Collection of Duets.
Cons: Nothing Negative.
I just brought Ray Charles' final recordings and his collaboration with artists from Norah Jones to B.B. King are very good.
I even let my brother listen to it and he enjoyed it as much as I did. This cd is a tribute to a man whose career spans 6 decades and broken musical bondaries and influenced countless artists.
I definitely recommend this cd to anyone who loves real music and prefers quality to quantity. ... -

A Revealing Look About Prince.
Pros: Must Read.
Cons: Ignored by music fans.
If you think that this is a tell all, gossip about Prince, think again. Alex Hahn writes this a revealing book about one of music's best performers. He interviews formers associates such as Rosie Gaines, Tony Barbarella including former members of the Revolution and New Power Generation who have agreed to be interviewed.
This book reveals what has happened to Prince from Purple Rain to his current renaissance. If you are a Prince fan and not be swayed by other hardcore fans. Have an open mind and judge for yourself. ... -

Great Debut.
I was interested in the book after seeing the equally great film starring Denzel Washington. I like Rawlins. He is no Shaft, but smart and resourceful in his own way.
I don't want to give away the whole story but read it for yourself. Excellent crime novel. ... -

Mindi Abair.
A very good debut. Abair doesn't try to sound like other saxophonists, she is original and it works. There is that comparison to Candy Dulfer, but their styles are totally different.
Looking forward to hearing more music from Mindi Abair. ... -

Impressive Debut.
I became a fan of DTTB when I heard The Zodiac from the Urban Grooves CD. Brooklyn Heights is excellent. I am glad they came on the scene because Smooth Jazz was getting a little boring. What a way to jazz it up with an powerful debut. ... -

Candy Dulfer: Big Girl.
This cd is excellent. I have to say that she really worked hard on this one. Its a shame it didn't get the airplay it deserved in the US. 2 Miles is a great tribute To Miles Davis and the rapping really fits the song. Dulfer shouldn't change her style at all. She knows what suits her and doesn't.This is a gem. ...
A Must For Sample Fans.
