Sony STR-DA2100ES Reciever
Pros: Excellent Sound, and So Many Options for such a affordable price
Cons: Would have loved more watt power, but, it's still powerful for Home Theater no less
For 12 years now, I truly shied away from Sony and any product that they put out on the Market, simply because of the formula in which they, up to this point subscribed to, and that was, style over substance, not listening to the needs of the consumer who buys their products, but after a 12 year abscence, I can honestly say that Sony has listened to the needs of the Consumer mass, and responded well, I am the proud owner of two of these recievers, one for the Living Room system, and for my Bedroom as well, and I have to admit, the DTS is simply outstanding as far as Surround Sound, and the many options that you have with this reciever is top notch, if you have any doubts about the sound quality of this Classic Piece Of material, I highly recommend popping in the following 2 DVD's to listen as to how the Surround Sound delivers, "Mr & Mrs. Smith", and "The Matrix Trilogy", and if that still does not convince you, "The Godfather Trilogy", also, for the price and everything that Sony incorporated into this beauty, You truly cannot go wrong, especially when now, Big Home Theater systems are really about to once again, become extinct, and smaller, space saving systems are about to once again, become the norm. I hope my review is of help to you, enjoy!!! ...

NCAA 2007 College Football ((XBOX 360))
Pros: Much improved game, especially now that it's on 360, Visually Stunning, Gameplay is Top Notch
Cons: Too Many Long Completed Passes From The Opposition During Crucial Points In The Game, Making It Very Predictable, Surrond Sounds Needs To Be Upgraded A Lil' More Better
Since EA Sports pulled a Gordon Gekko move and acquired the NFL & College Football Licenses respectively, the true Video Gamers on the Sports Level like myself were left at the mercy of EA Sports now being able to put out a Football game that can be either good or bad, without any other 3rd party having a alternative to choose, I truly need not bring up the fumble on the Madden series last year, but I think that EA may be on the road back to respectability, and they started in the right direction with NCAA '07, I have played this on both, the regular Black Box, and moreso on the 360, simply put, "Classic Material" If Madden is anything remotely close to this, I can finally retire ESPN 2K5 and again rejoice in my favorite pastime, Video Gaming, truly a must have for Football Video Gamers!!! ...

The Nano 4GB Player
Pros: Hella Sound, Enough space to keep your catalog updated, and just simply put, the best thing since the Sony Walkman
Cons: Can get scratched up easily if you do not have a cover for it, and after that, really nothing else
What can I say about the Nano that probably you have not already heard about??, It is truly a stroke of genius on Apple's behalf to bring this electronic device to the masses, I have over 20,000 (Yes!!, that many music tracks on my Home PC and I have filled my Nano up to capacity already, mines is infused with all my Jazz favorites, along with my Hip-Hop & House grooves to my Ol' Skool R&B and favorite Reggae and GoGo Beats, so I'm never at a lost as to what I want to listen to, all I know is that the Video Version of this device is not too far off my radar, a must have for a DJ or Music Junkie like myself ...

NBA 2K6
Pros: Gameplay really has not changed much from last season, except for the incorporating of the Shot stick, Custom Soundtracking is always a plus, and the Online mode is better than last year
Cons: Shot Stick has to take a lil' time to get used to, and it would be nice to have all the shoes available to accesorize the players with
What can be said about this year's NBA 2K6??, Well, for starters, The Video Gaming God's finally made a good game with Shaq on the cover, whereas everytime the BIG OOF is on the cover of a Basketball game, it truly sucks, well, the game pretty much plays like last years, which truly means in general, NBA Live is arcadey once again ((LOL!!)) And the only thing that truly stands out is the fact that the XBOX version looks like the same thing on the 360, graphics wise, except that the fans move more fluidly with more better effects and the players truly do work up a sweat on the game for real, and my only gripe is that they could at least let you accesorize the players correctly, when getting their gear in order and when trades are made, you can at least be able to change their jersey # as well as change the color of their shoe, nothing is more hideous than seeing Mark Blount be traded from Boston to Minnesota and he is stuck wearing green Nikes instaed of changing to blue. Other than that, good game, just needs a lil' more improving, as well as NBA Live does, but NBA 2K6 gets the nod on this one ...

MVP 06 NCAA College Baseball
Pros: Good Gameplay Controls for every competitor level, and every aspect of the College Level of Baseball is displayed to give you the rigors of everyday operations of running a College Baseball Program
Cons: They need to incorporate every College team into the game, and Graphic wise, a lil' bit more fine tuning
What can I say, being a former shortstop in College (WESTERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY) I was truly happy to see that EA Sports did not get Bitchy because they lost their Baseball license to ESPN, but the only thing that I truly got pissed over was the fact that they left my Alma Mater off the game, I had to go and create my school, I only hope that Western is on here next season. As for the gameplay, I was not disapointed, you can easily get into the game without any problems, all that is required is to get your swing timing down and from there, it's on, if you have played any Baseball game in the past, you will surely know what I mean when I say that it is easy to get into, I found that Texas and Florida are the Top Dawg Schools on this first outing of this series, and the sleepers are Georgia and Miami, from what I have played so far. And given that EA has dropped the price on this game as well as all their sports titles (39.00) I will say that this is a bargain for that price. Enjoy as i have so far ...

MLB 2K5 World Series Edition
1 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulPros: Updated Rosters, Better Gameplay, and everything that you loved about the 1st Edition
Cons: Needs more improvement on the graphic animations
Now, if only EA Sports would follow suit with the rest of their sports library and re release a Video Game in season, with the updated rosters and everything else that comes with a sports seasons. Well ESPN's MLB series delivered to a Baseball fan like me, the game that should have been from the jump, but I can appreciate what they delivered by giving baseball fans a game that was revamped by Roster moves and updated Jersey and everything else that was not in the early edition. The gameplay is hella tight, and you have the actual feel of being in the game, by just the graphics, animation and all the other things that actually happens in real life, and for 20 bucks, all Video games should be this great for that price.....Listening EA???!! ...

Monopoly Party
Pros: Very easy to play, Great party game or playing by yourself
Cons: Needs more variety in it
For those that are fans of the Board game like I am, you will truly welcome this game with open arms, as i did, I was very unsure about it when I first saw it for under 20 bucks, I figured nothing beats a suckable game but to try it 1st, then critique it, after about 2 hours later, I found myself actually loving this game, and I loved it even more when me and the fellas got together and played it. I recommend this game to those looking for a breather from the usual suspects of games that we play. ...

Better than it was televised
I found this 3-CD set a very good investment. I understand the show a whole lot better, when it was on TV, NBC gave viewers the impression that we were seeing the series in it's entirety, whereas with this set, alot of scenes were left out that in turn on the DVD set, gets into the plot a whole lot better, and also, it is more in movie form, than it is in TV form. The sound and visuals are excellent, and now I cannot wait for the 2nd season to start on this show, only drawback is that I wished that the 2nd season would go straight to DVD, because I know now that NBC will leave a lot out due to the content ...

Mitsubishi WD-73827
1 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulPros: Widescreen & HDTV=Perfect Combination, Viewing HD-DVD or Regular DVD's is simply stunning!!, Time that it takes to master this Gigantic piece of Video beauty,no less than 40 minutes tops, and did i mention how stunning playing a XBOX 360 on this TV is??
Cons: Only purchase this TV if you have the space, it truly is a space consumption piece if you live in a Apartment, other than that, if you have the means to cop this, I highly recommend it!!!
I was truly in the market for at least a 55-62" HDTV, but as I was looking around in the store, Lo & Behold, the picture on this TV caught my eye and attention. The colors are truly dynamic, and the reception of HD channels are as lifelike as HD is supposed to be, I watched the Dallas Cowboys play against New Orleans, and the detail and vividness of seeing the sweat drip off of Romo's face during the up close shots was truly enough to convince me that I made a very wise investment in this piece of Video Equipment. The added bonus of HDMI is always great, along with the fact that my XBOX 360 games look great when I'm playing them on this TV, Fight Night Round 3 never looked so realistic. Also, it compliments a DTS Reciever very well, I would recommend a serious Sony Reciever with 7.1 capabilities for this set, the picture and sound is completely mesmerizing. Hands down, this is the best investment in a Home Theater upgrade that I have made in quite some time, I highly recommend this TV as the nerve center of any Home Theater. ...
