Pros: 5 MP, video w/ sound, clear pictures
Cons: battery life, no zoom on video mode, no option to keep flash on
Overall I have been satisfied w/ this camera. It takes clear pictures.
My problem w/ this camera which is not that big a deal is that the battery is exhausted right after the warning light comes on. It does not give you time to get a little more picture before you need to change it.
Another thing is that you have no option to keep the flash on at all times. This feature comes in handy when you are taking a picture w/ alit background. For example, I was taking a picture of my friend in front of a cathedral. the cathedral background was clear, but my friend was dark, couldn't hardly tell who she was. The video mode has no zoom. I know some camera can zoom during video(a less quality camera at that).
Don't get me wrong. I love this camera. It has some nice features such as the 5MP, video mode w/ sounds, automatic changing of pictures to upright position during viewing, faster start up and ability to take next picture. the camera is very portable, not too small nor too big. i bought this product in february. after less than a month, the joystick wouldn't work properly. the down button doesn't work anymore due to always pressing the down to look at the phonebook. i returned and exchanged it. then a little over a month later, the same thing happened. now i'm on my 3rd one hoping that it would not do it again. this time, i put the # that i use the most to the end of the alphabet so that i can use the up button instead. i also called uniden and they would only exchange it for a refurbished one and i have to pay the shipping to and back. if that was the case, it would be cheaper if i just return/exchange it at the store. good thing they allowed exchange even though it was over 30 days. but what if it was over 6 months? clearly, there is something wrong w/ how the joystick was made. it is poor quality. they should modify this feature of the phone. ...
