Dino-mite!
Spielberg has created one heck of a thrill ride, benefiting no end more state of the art FX that combines Phil Tippit's stop motion, Stan Winston's live action and Dennis Muren's CGI. The final result is a seemless blend.The characters are underdeveloped, and the most interesting of them (Jeff Goldblum) all but vanishes into the background once things kick in, but that's about the problems in this movie.
Lots of suspense and excitment, and the sort of motion picture that holds up just as well on repeat viewing. ...
