Significant packet loss -- you'll take it back...

Cons: But you have to upgrade firmware and run the PC-only configurator
To get this working correctly for a DHCP environment, you have to upgrade its firmware (download from company website) via their PC-only config application.
After upgrading and getting the configuration worked out, it worked OK for 12 hours then I started experiencing 35-65% packet loss (i.e., it became unusable). Reboot and it would work OK for about 5 minutes.
To rule out my placement/environment, I turned on my laptop with a WiFi card and it worked fine (0% packet loss over 1000 packets). The laptop is (a) less than 3' from the ME101 (b) in a less desirable place in my office (c) doesn't have the nice external antenna which *should* make the ME101 work much better!
Don't bother.
P.S. NetGear is one of those companies that is outsourcing their customer service to India -- a policy I don't particularly care for. Mine is going back. ...
