My daughters love this!
Pros: Teaches technology, easy to use, easy to set up
Cons: only PC (Con for some people)
I bought this for my daughters (10 and 12) because they are always playing with their hair and makeup and I thought it would be fun for them to do that on the computer to share looks with friends. A close friend of mine recommended the Stylin Studio because her daughter loved it and it didn't involve an IT degree on the parent's part. My daughters usually like playing with it together and giving each other suggestions on new dos (though, during a couple of fights, they have created some nasty looks for each other...). The toy had a simple installation and was ready to go within half an hour or so. I first thought the price point was a little high, but after looking at other makeover programs, this toy is actually reasonably priced (and the amount of time they have gotten out of it makes it a good value).
