Damn good CD...
Although Ace's solo effort will always be my favorite, Paul shows that his songwriting abilities are the heart and soul of KISS. From the opening guitar work of "Tonight You Belong To Me" to the more mellow "Ain't Quite Right" to the epic closer "Goodbye", there are few bad notes on this recording. This is not just highly recommended for KISS fans, but for rock fans seeking something to help scratch their rock itch. ... -

I can't praise this CD enough...
0 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this review helpful I kept hearing the cut "A Quarter to Heaven" in regular rotation on Hardradio.com (free plug), and couldn't get the song out of my head. I ordered the CD online on the basis of the one song I heard, and wasn't disappointed when I recieved the CD in the mail. Tracks from "Underground" to "Innocence", from first cut to last, this CD is living proof that great music is still made today. It's also unlike any Maiden CDs, for those that might be curious. I hope that people will give this great record a chance. I cannot stop listening to it... ... -

A welcome arrival...and a must-own...
0 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this review helpful After what I considered a somewhat dissapointing offering of "Three Snakes and One Charm", the Crowes came back with the balls-to-the-wall rock and blues that they are known for. From the opening lick of "Go Faster" to the nearly-sensuous "Virtue and Vice", and every note in-between, this record simply brings it. Every song is sounds better that the last time you hear it, and not as good as the next time you will. ... -

Arguably, the best album of the 90s...
0 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this review helpful Tool's music and words are second to none. They could almost be heralded as a modern-day Black Sabbath. Their lyrics are straight from the deepest part of humanity, and the music is the perfect companion. 'Undertow' carries a water theme throughout it's epic stride, and never dissapoints. I feel sorry for those not in tune with this magnificent record... ... -

The one to own...
Bottom line : this album brings it. If I weren't a die-hard, major KISS fan, I would still own this record. This is a balls-out, straight-up rock record like they don't make anymore. Unfortunately, the solo records were probably the catalyst for the band's original breakup, but for at least one moment in time, Ace showed that he's more than just a painted face... ... -

Abbey Road was the Beatles' opus...
Although Beatles fans will argue until the end of time on their best work, for me, it's definitely "Abbey Road". Song for song, this is their finest recording. The musical segue from "Sun King" to the end of "The End" is simply amazing, and "You Never Give Me Your Money" is one of my personal Beatles' faves. This album belongs in everyone's collection as a "must have". ... -

Better than the AIC stuff...
0 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this review helpful I'm a huge Alice in Chains fan, but Jerry Cantrell's first solo effort is nothing less than amazing. From the opening chords of "Dickeye" to the unusual sound of "My Song" (my personal favorite) to the final notes of "Cold Piece", this album is an overlooked masterpiece, and certainly didn't get the recognition it deserved when released. Jerry shows that he is truly the heart and soul behind AIC, and I anxiously await his second release this year... ...
