Cons: price but wot the heck
I was a former Nikon-man till my brother told me about the Canon-series cameras. I tried once back in the early 90s and haven't looked back. This is my fifth digital camera, my first being the DCS520 (still available for purchase). What can I say about this that you haven't heard from others? I like the feel of it, very comfortable and easy to use. The controls are a bit strangely placed, but it just takes a little getting used to, as in any new equipment. I adore the heavy weight, as - IMHO - it adds to the stability of the control and balance of a good camera; you just cannot handhold a tiny/thin P&S too well. I especially LOVE the high-speed shutter and it's also sooo quiet! I wish I had this camera months ago while shooting a ballet performance!! This is a quality camera that was well thought-out and am pleased with the results! ...
