Once you go Zune...

Pros: Beautiful screen, sound quality, sexy design

Cons: Matte back gets smudged easily

Before my dad talked me into a Zune, I wanted an iPod. Then I saw an online comparison chart. It was all true; the Zune does have more to offer than the iPod.

I've had mine since Christmas. The only mishap so far is that I dropped it on the bus and it got a little blotch from the shock. I sent it back and got a new one, same inscription on the back, new headphones, new USB cable. Excellent support.

Now onto the device itself:
- Absolutely beautiful. Pictures don't do it justice
- Great interface. The Zune pad makes use effortless.
- Sound quality is top notch
- Zune software is great. I've used iTunes before, but Zune software has it beat.
- You can use many different types of files, like WMA, WMV, M3U. The list goes on.
- The radio is great, but I will say that my mom's car gets better reception, but tri county stations come in crystal clear for me.
- Lots of space

The only gripes I have with it are:
- The back gets easily smudged
- Accessories are scarce, and when you do find them, they're far more expensive than iPod accessories. Some are really good though, like the DLO Hipcase.


Overall, excellent device. I wouldn't give this up for the latest iPod, especially with the Zune HD coming out in a few months. ...
