All in One

Cons: The Konquest Mode is long and drawn out!
I love this game. I bought it for my birthday last year. Being a long-time Mortal Kombat fan, I prayed that it would be a game that I could learn and have fun playing.
The first thing that I noticed was the Chess Kombat. It is not only a fighting game but it's a strategy game too. You do have the standard chess board with not so standard pieces. It's so fun to play and even more fun to master.
Secondly, there's Puzzle Kombat, which is my absolute favorite. It is reminicent of Dr. Robotnik's Bean Machine but 10x more fun. It was easy to get the gist of. I still haven't quite mastered it though. It takes quick reflexes and a strategic eye.
The rest of the game is pretty much like Deadly Alliance but this one is better. The game introduces Ashrah, Tanya, Darrius, Dairou, Shujinko and a couple others.
I love it. It was truely worth every dime. ...
Please Rent this Game!
Pros: It was different from any game I'd ever played.
Cons: It was short!
My boyfriend and I, who love unothodox gameplay, decided to rent this after reading about it for months in the PSX magazine. It looked great. It was but....
THERE WAS ONLY LIKE FIVE HOURS OF GAMEPLAY!
This game is like The Sims + Resident Evil + Driver 3. You have the options to do things that may or may not significantly alter gameplay.
Will you clean up your trail?
Will you hop on the subway or in the cab?
Will you wash your bloody clothes or leave them on the floor for the detective to see?
Will you lie or tell the truth?
Does it matter you wonder? Of course!
Everthing you do matters. Does it significantly alter gameplay?
Somethings do and some don't. Play the game to find out.
Though the replay value is considerably high, buying this game is questionable. If you recieve this game, keep it. Cherish it. Then trade it for it's sequel (no doubt that there will be one.)
I dug it. Play it. IT's worth it! ...
