Dreamy
Pros: Long duration
Cons: Can't find one
If the ones who saw the movie expect to hear the same music on this release, they are mistaking. Almost all the music featured on the CD hasn't been used in the movie, except for some minor themes, so you can consider this a sort of album by James Horner. The music is very beautiful and when you hear it, you will feel like you are flying above the clouds. The solo female voice and the choir makes this soundtrack and enchanting one. However, Horner fans will find out that this soundtrack has nothing new for him so it's the same style he has presented us long ago. But it is a rare occasion that Horner writes something with such a beauty. If you decide to buy this I am sure that you will not be disappointed. In fact, when the CD is over, you will want to play it again from the beginning. ...

Not better
Pros: Excellent quality sound
Cons: Too commercial
For those who haven't listened the original Tubular Bells will find this album interesting, but for the many who listened the original one will find this CD disappointing. It was a good idea by Mike to re-record his best album, but it has made it too commercial. The only good thing that I appreciate about this one is it's 5.1 surround sound. In short, buy the original album, not this one. ...

One of John's best soundtracks
Pros: Excellent atmospheric music
Cons: Few great cues missing
This was the soundtrack that made me a fan of John Williams and, altough I have many Williams scores in my collection, this is my favorite, along with E.T. Even though there is not the whole music from the film, it is still a great selection and shows us the talent and genius of John Williams. "Remembering Childhood" is by far the best track on the CD and is one of the most beautiful cues I have ever heard from Williams. This is recommended for every soundtrack fan. ...

Surely they can do better
Pros: Good covers
Cons: No original songs
Ok, so Westlife have demonstrated that they can do very good cover versions of love songs but this is not a way to put yourself on the good music scene. If you really want to consider yourself a good artist (or band) you need to come with new songs, not covers, so that the critics know that they need to judge originality, not something reused. This is not their best album, but it is not the worst either. For Westlife fans this is a good addition to the music collection. ...

Hans Zimmer - The British Years
Pros: Includes previously unreleased material
Cons: Not the best Zimmer early tracks
What I like the most at this CD is that it includes some previously unrelesead tracks, which makes it one of the best Zimmer compilations on the market. The best cue on the CD is A World Apart End Title. The other tracks are really a pleasure to listen. Altough they aren't the best Zimmer early cues, it is a good opportunity to listen how a film industry legend was born and how his synthesizer and orchestra music have been developed. Great for every single Zimmer fan and collector. A must-buy CD. ...

The best Hans Zimmer compilation
Pros: Great music from early years
Cons: Hard to find
This is really the best Hans Zimmer compilation but, unfortunately, it's very hard to find. I heard some extracts from the songs but I don't own it. I am in Romania and here it's really impossible to find it:(( ...

One of the best soundtracks ever
Pros: Excellent music and theme
Cons: Few instrumental songs
This is, personally, my favourite soundtrack in my entire CD collection. I am a huge soundtrack fan and this is the best I have it. Hans Zimmer's instrumental songs are of such a rare beauty and the theme song performed by Elton John is one of my favourite songs. I have been owning the CD for three years now and it's still my all-time favourite. It's relaxing and it's keeping me in good mood every time I punch it into my player. I recommend this CD to all soundtrack fans and not only. I bought this CD and I wasn't dissapointed. And I'm sure that no one will ever be. ...

The best intrumental album of all-time
Pros: Great music
Cons: Poor sound quality
This is undoubtly the best instrumental album of all-time. This is excellent for a debut album. Not many artists achieve succes from their debut album. I recommend this album to all music lovers. I wasn't dissapointed. Buy it and I'm sure you won't be too. ...
Very good achievement
Pros: Excellent original tracks
Cons: Still a few covers
In my opinion, this is the best Westlife album released so far, mainly because the original songs are really a new beginning for Westlife, a sign that they are becoming more and more mature. However, there are still a few covers that Westlife has managed to perform beautifully but, nonetheless, we are still waiting the day that Westlife will release an all-original songs album. But still, this is their best album, even though not all the songs are original but it is a good achievement for the lads. ...
