A Great Film
1 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this review helpful 1st let me tell you that this is one of my all time favorite films. That having been said, I must confess that this is one of the few films that I watch over again. This film is funny, with Rowan Atkins of Black Adder fame, Jeff G. and Emma T. you have three solid actors. Goldblum plays the part of an akward American with a believableness that few of his other films contain. Thompson is great as the love interest who knows what she wants. All of the other characters in the film no matter how long they are on camera add something to the film. This is especially true of the nyphomanic roommate. Mel Smith the director makes a brief cameo, watch for him. The film is intelligent with great musically score and VERY funny lyrics. Notable the "elephant man" musical song, packing his trunk.
This a good film for a couple as it will appeal to both men and women. The is a rather warm love scene with Thompson and Goldblum that is funny.
All in all a great film ...
