Cons: Some of the Lyrics are questionable? Are they up to par?
Kelly obviously knows how to make a good record! THANKFUL was amazing, and it was risky attempting to try and top that. She also took a very big risk by changing her style into more Rock, rather than Pop. This is one of those Albums that make you think "hmm...I don't know?" because it is difficult to attain the success she achieved with THANKFUL. But after listening to it several time, one may get attached and realize..."this is just as good as the first, if not better!" Every track on the CD is Phenomenal, but the tracks Breakaway, Since U Been Gone, Because of You, Walk Away, and Hear Me...personalize the CD, not only for Kelly, but for her listeners as well. People can actually relate to the songs. I personally believe that some of the songs had questionable lyrics. It seemed as if...some of the songs didn't flow, but her fantastic voice made up for that. The live rendition of Beautiful Disaster is wonderful and makes a great closing track for the CD. If you ask me...the Album is just as AMAZING as the first...and Kelly has proven she really is a musician. She couldn't "BREAKAWAY" from her Pop, American Idol reputation in a better way! ...
