If you want a valuable archive of Americana music, then this is it. Classic recordings from Maybelle Carter and Roy Acuff, Doc Watson, up to modern day artists such as John Prine, Emmylou Harris, Johnny Cash, etc. If you want to hear the REAL country music you should get this. If you want to hear fast food country music then don't buy this and just turn on your local country station. ...

The only problem with this album is there are not more songs by more artists. I'm sure they could easily have invited more fans of the Louvin Brothers and done more songs. Othere than that, It is excellent. ...
