Probably the best Windows currently available
8 of 8 Yahoo! Users found this review helpful Much better than 98SE, much less intrusive than XP. Will probably be the best Windows version to use for many people. Based on NT 5.0, Windows 2000 is very stable and much more reliable than 98SE. Online Windows upgrades work well, automating patch downloads and application. Never had much luck with Microsofts support in general, but with easy updates, perhaps I wont need them. Note that I dont use Microsofts web browser or mail program, preferring Netscape and The Bat! for much better security, etc. If you use 98 or older, definitely upgrade to 2000, especially if your hardware is from 2000 or newer. ...
