Garmin nuvi 650 GPS Receiver

Pros: A great basic system that even an idiot can use

Cons: Not many options as to locating in in your vehicle

I met the Garmin GPS systems when renting a car in Arizona. After a few false (three actually) starts that were attributable to the car's power source, not the Garmin, this little wizard led me through a thousand miles of travel with not so much as a hiccup.

ven when road signs indicated something else, I trusted the Garmin.... and it was right!

It worked well in big cities as well as for locations in the far country.

This devise will save you time, gas and lots of frustration. I only wish the model I purchased (nuvi 650) had a few options for mounting it in the car.

But if you are looking for a great system for yourself or as a gift, I'd go with this mid-price item. ...
