Its an excellent camera which gives u value for money.
i generally use slr s but i loved this camera.
excellent 1cm Supermacro and i am in love with it.

Canon Powershot A430 Review
Pros: Value for money, Excellent optics, Supermacro, User friendly, Gives excellent results, Digic, 4X zoom,.
Cons: Small LCD not so easy to see in bright daylight.
I have been using this product for years and it can produce 8X10inch prints and even 10X15inch prints shots with a little photoshpping.
Very easy to use and gives excellent macro and supermacro shots.
Canon Powershot A470 is also very good and follows this lineage.
Just go for it. ...
