DESTINY is the first album where the brothers were able to fully arrange their own music and, frankly, it was about time. They do not disappoint here, giving us nothing but pure dance funk as well as moving, heartfelt ballads. It also doesn't hurt that Michael sings each song with his lovely voice, and Greg Phillinganes provides pretty much all of the rhythm. You can't go wrong with such numbers as PUSH ME AWAY, THINGS I DO FOR YOU, BLESS HIS SOUL, THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR BEING POLITE, and we can't forget about the powerful, driving, energetic SHAKE YOUR BODY DOWN TO THE GROUND.
