MacBook- Intel Core 2 Duo
6 of 7 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulPros: Fast, Reliable, and awsome keyboard (spaced nicely)
Cons: Edging around computer
I've been using PC's as long as I can remember, and I didn't like the things I heard about Windows Vista. I decided that instead I would try an Apple b/c of all the features it has on it. The software it comes with (i.e. iLife) is very user friendly, and fun to work with. You can record music in Garageband, and it sounds professionally done, which is the major reason why I got this one. The other software included is iPhoto, iDVD, iCal, iMovieHD, and iWeb. There are a few others, but all in all it's pretty well made. I thought at first it would be really hard to get used to, but it really is user friendly like Apple states. If you're looking for a gaming computer, then this computer is not for you. You will have to step it up and by the less compact MacBook Pro. Between the two there is not much of a difference. A few features that the Pro model has and the regular doesn't is the keyboard is a bit different on it. It is regularly spaced out like a normal keyboard, and the keys light up. Also, the screen dims itself. The other major differences are just memory, hard drive space, screen size, and the graphics card.
In my opinion I would say that the MacBook is the way to go as long as you don't plan on playing any games. Also, the only difference between the black 2ghz model and the white 13" model is that the hard drive on the white model is 80gb whereas the black one is 120, so basically you're paying for the color and the larger hard drive.
I've also read alot of reviews on this laptop as well, and it has been getting better ratings than the Pro models anyway ...
