RF Offline
Pros: graphics
Cons: server stability
I beta'd this one and have to say that the graphics are just great and ease-of-movement is pretty easy to learn.
You really couldn't modify anything ingame. What you got is basically what you got. You picked up the same loot as anyone else and the exceptional loot was rare if not non-existant.
You had to be on your toes around a lot of things which I found really good but the constant kill-stealing or loot taking was crazy. I certainly hoped they fixed that in the live version because, in beta, it was stupid.
The chat system was a real pain in the royal butt as there was no ingame help topics to move you into a better understanding of a particular feature or chat room. Hopefully a kind soul would give you an assist in that area.
All-in-all, the game was good but not really outstanding. ... -

City of Grind
Pros: great character building - great graphics and CAPES
Cons: same missions - same bad guys - very little space to move
For a superhero to be effective, you'd think he would be able to see with x-ray vision or have x-men like qualities like melting into puddles to slip under walls and stuff.
Nope. You're human or bug-like with human qualities.
You wear tights, nice costumes, masks, capes and fly or super-jump where you need to go. But do you do anything overly extraordinary? Not really. The people on the street walk along like nothing's going on. You'd think a superhero would have super-hearing and hear the cry for help from a citizen. Nope. Or that a citizen would come running up to engage your help or even to set a trap against you or for you to bring an element of surprise into the game. Nope.
None of that. Just get a mission, grind the same warehouses and office buildings and move onto the next mission. No big deal. ... -

Forever Quest
Pros: TONS of storylines - graphics
Cons: Grind! Grind! Grind!
after playing for a while, it's just like any other game. Same quests only different NPCs putting their own twists on them that really don't add to the adventure much.
The graphics are great. The worlds are nice. The challenges are there. But it's basically the same quests in many changes of clothes. Unlike AC, your characters skillsets are set in stone so you never really have a weak character - just one that you have to learn a different style of play.
At least with AC, 1/2 the fun was re-rolling a gimped character because there was no hope of upping his/her skills later on down the road. And it was a bit more diverse. The character building in EQ2 was pretty routine. ... -

Camelot Lives!
Pros: graphics, in-game support, the battlefield
Cons: not enough battlefield
I have to admit, DAoC is a game that you can't easily forget. It's beautiful and challenging and, like any PC game these days, you can overlook the repetition of it because of the "getting lost in the game" quality.
The dungeons are really pretty awesome. Spacious isn't the word and you really have to watch what you're doing in there or you are toast. A team can be wiped out in a heartbeat which, oddly enough, only adds to the fun instead of the frustration.
The battlefield is exceptional and the best PvP battlefield I've ever experienced ingame. Building strategy, sneak attacks, scaling walls and building machinery to knock down drawbridges is just pure medieval fun!
Get a really good system with an even better graphics card to play this game :) ... -

Realistic Battlegrounds
Pros: Definitely keeps with the battle theme
Cons: Not really for a novice
If you're not used to equip specs, strategy, combat situations, flying helicopters or tank controls, or just plain having a blast on a game, then I don't recommend the novice partake.
But if you're up for a battle of wits and not afraid to be a bit risky in your gameplay, then this might be for you. Getting a team together and becoming cohesive is about as realistic ingame as it is out of game and can be a truly unique experience what with Team Speak.
You can almost smell the war! ... -

World of Repetition
Pros: Easy play
Cons: Grind! Grind! Grind!
It's not hard to level at all in the gameplay and the graphics are just beautiful in places. I enjoyed some of the storylines and had fun adventuring on my own.
The community is immature.
The auction system is good but definitely not controlled as there are too many epic items of the same kind that are outrageously priced.
If you're looking for individually in a game (not having the same armor as anyone else or the same type of character), then you really should look elsewhere. You are just like anyone else in your race except your clothes are a bit different as are your professions. There aren't many ways at all to create a completely unique character.
The end game with 40-man raids are hours of repetition that get you exactly the same thing you got the last time you and your buds went through a particular dungeon. Nothing special. Can't solo end game dungeons. Don't even try it.
Never did PvP only because it's just not my thing. My son did and quite enjoyed it but after awhile, even he put up a big *sigh* and *yawn*. ... -

Well....we really didn't like it
5 of 5 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulPros: Nice design
Cons: Coffee doesn't stay hot long
We've had this machine for a few months and, at first, it seemed to be just what we were looking for. Less than a year later, the on/off button doesn't work properly (I have to unplug it to turn it off), it doesn't hold the time well and, once the coffee is brewed, it doesn't stay hot in the carafe for more than an hour or so. Oh, and the bottom came off it for no good reason other than it just felt like it.
We've also found that the taste of the coffee degrades for reasons unknown even if you keep the charcoal filter clean and changed often.
We liked that we didn't have to use paper cones.
I think we spent far too much money for the quality we received. ...
Saga of Ryzom
Pros: graphics - in-game support
Cons: not enough content
In beta, the crafting in this game was completely unique. As a crafter, say, of fine potions and the like, you had to dig for what you needed. But the quality you dug up could be anywhere from yuk to exceptional depending on your skill, the equipment you used, the location of the materials you dug for and if radiation was a factor. And, once applied, you had the option of giving the final product a uniqueness because of the quality of ingredients that you decided to use.
Just plain and simple a unique crafting aspect.
Didn't care for the grind. Seems that's the only aspect to draw in the younger crowd as the grind is what they expect.
The older generation actually wants adventure that they have to think about and use their wits on. ...
