Cons: Could have used a 5-pin charger instead of 4-pin
It's hard to find something wrong with the Jabra BT-500. I had a BT-250 and it died a horrible death. So in looking for a new headset, I evaluated several models. The BT-500 won, hands down.
It's extremely comfortable to put on and wear, and unlike top-of-the-ear units, it feels very secure when you put it on. Sound quality is excellent, very loud in the ear if needed. Controls are logical and well-placed. The answer/end button moving down to the end of the boom was a great modification. Also, separating out the paring button was a great move. The volume buttons are a little difficult to push while you're wearing the unit; feels like you're pushing your ear in. Good reception as well.
Also, I've heard a lot of complaints about the charging plug. They used a USB mini 4-pin, which is not technically a USB standard. They should have been able to use a USB mini 5-pin instead. All in all, a great headset. ...
