Cons: Battery not removable
I have been looking for MP3 players and my old E310 sat on a shelf gathering dust. I was getting ready to sell it when I casually glanced through the manual and noticed that it played MP3 files. So I ripped some CDs using Real Player, saved the files on my SD card and put it into the E310. I was astounded at the quality of the sound coming out of this machine. Anybody out there looking for MP3 players (which are all pretty expensive) should consider this as a viable alternative (plus you get all the other features). These are selling for $60 to $80 on ebay these days.
Toshiba doesn't say anything about the sound chip on the machine but all I can say is it is unbelievable! ...
