OMIGoSH
Pros: Supreme value
Cons: Not 1080p,
I acquired my projector on Black Friday as others went out of Circuit City with huge HD TVs. Its portability immediately made an impression. I paid only $450 for it (after rebates) and also got a free 92" screen and subwoofer! What a deal! What a STEAL! This projector was in the $1700 range back in January! I tried it out on an old DVD with black and white samurai and it depicted everything crisply. I then played Superman, and that was also very crisp. I love the theatrical quality, but the room must be entirely dark to have optimum picture quality.
That doesn't bother me because I like watching movies in the dark.
I can't believe people would pay $2000 for a 42inch screan when I paid $450 for a portable screen that goes up to 300inches. I haven't tested it for a projection that large, but 92 is fine by me. I'm looking forward to hooking it up to my computer for network games and to a Nintendo Wii! That should ROCK!
This projector stood out from the others priced under $1000 because of its sound quality. It has the capability to hook up to a Dolby 5.1 DTS system. No other projector under $5000 advertised its sound features.
Moreover, although I'm a fan for modular items, having a built-in DVD player does come in handy because it is one less thing to carry for a presentation!
Phew!
I fail to comprehend why people aren't buying projectors instead of home theatre systems--and why manufacturers haven't caught on to the potential these babies have! I've waited three and a half years for this! AMEN! ... -

Excellent Movie
Pros: Intriguing Plot
Cons: not an action movie
Of course this isn't an action movie, so anyone who isn't used to drama/crime movies would be turned off by this. Regardless, it is an fine film with a very well-developed storyline. I found it superb. it often gave me chills .. . ...

There can be only one
Pros: Reliable
Cons: Monopoly on Portable CD recording
This unit is one of two portable CD recorders in existence, so it seems. It's sister unit has an onboard memory drive as well as more onboard recording features. This unit has everything I need to do voice acting, making sound effects, and recording my brother's band.
It's price is exactly the same as it was three years ago. It also hasn't evolved significantly because there isn't a high demand for it in comparison to something like the iPod. Regardless, it does its job well--sometimes too well, and has everything onboard that one could possibly need from a portable sound recorder.
It is the ALPHA and OMEGA of portable professional sound recorders. There isn't much competition out there (hear the crickets). I just wish the price would go down $100 or so. ...
