My favorite Dr. John album
Pros: Beautiful lyrics and melodies
Cons: Too hard to find!
OK, if you're reading this then 1) you've heard this album or 2) You like Dr. John but haven't heard this. If you are the second, then FIND THIS ONE! It's a gem. The best place to find it is an online ebay-type record seller or a big used record store.
This is defintely a "night time" album. It's great to listen to on a cool night with someone you love just staring out the window at the city lights. The atmosphere of the album is cool, light, and funky, with a touch of piano-bar jazz. Great stuff! ...
