GREAT SOUND, BUT WORTH THE MONEY??
I have had my Intel MP3 player for a year now. It has gone through a beating (I workout a lot!) I have dropped it so many times it's not even FUNNY. The sound quality is EXCELLENT. I highly recommend you replace the crap headphones Intel provides you, with Koss Portapros- then your system will REALLY sound like an unsurpassed CONCERT.
Today, the headphone input broke. Not surprising since I abuse it so much, but I would guess that this would eventually happen to you if you own one for a while. Luckily, I opened the unit up and re-soddered the headphone input piece back on the "motherboard."; Other than that, the player is well made and flawless. I just wish it could hold more music. ...
RECOMMENDATION: I truly believe that you can now get more bang for your buck in something else. I'm not saying this is a bad unit at all, but its a bit pricey taking into consideration that is only has 128 MB of music storage! -

Best Sounding, Longest Lasting Headphones

Users found this review helpful I have owned literally 50 different pair of headphone of all different brand names including Sony, Aiwa, Panasonic, Koss, JVC, etc. I workout alot and run many many miles, so my headphones go through a beating. Ihave the same Koss Portapros for nearly four years now! The only thing that you WILL have to replace are the foam earpads. I have already replaced them twice. You can buy them at Radioshack for a couple of bucks. The phone are well made. Period. The ear drivers snap in to place, so if you happen to snag the cord on something, the design allow it to release rather than rip-off the cord connection. The plastic composite seems to be a bit more flexible yet stiff, as opposed to Sony's typical crack-prone plastic, thus, the plastic lasts longer. The sound provides surprisingly deep bass and crisp and clear highs. I don't usually write reviews, but U like to give credit where credit is due. BUY THESE. In the long run, you will get your money's worth and then some. ...
