N.W.A. Celebrates 20 Years
Pros: Contains classic hits
Cons: A few older songs I'm not really into
With classic hits such as Staight Outta Compton, F**K Tha Police, & Express Yourself, this N.W.A. Best Of album is a must have for your collection. Although these tunes may not have a lot of bass, there are other songs that do. Also included in this package is a DVD containing videos for Straight Outta Compton, Express Yourself, and a few others. Along with interviews from the likes of Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, & Eazy-E. ...

Nine Inch Nails
Pros: A little more like their older stuff.
Cons: Some of the sounds seem like a jumbled mess but that was the point I think.
If you are a NIN fan, you must have this album. It is better than Trent's last two albums releases. Some people say it sounds more like The Downward Spiral. I would have to agree. Would you like some bass and melodic grooves? Year Zero is supposed to be about the last days on earth. The technical chaos within this album represents that for sure. Check it out. ...

Mushroomhead Rocks!
Pros: As heavy as ever
Cons: You must be under the influence of something to fully enjoy the music
As dark and mysterious as ever, Mushroomhead delivers another great album. It took me long enough to get this, but now that I finally did, I am wondering what took me so long. Great new tunes and a variety of sounds to boggle the mind or twist your perception a little. ...

New Chevelle
Pros: The guys are improving their talents everyday.
Cons: The songs have the same sound but that's not always a bad thing.
The Chevelle brothers have stepped up their game with the latest album, Vena Sera, proving that they are in this for the long haul. Pete's vocals are stretching the limits and his guitar playing rocks. Sam and Dean throw down as well. Their image is a little darker these days which is reflected in the tunes. I thought the sound resembled a little Tool and Deftones action (not to compare but just saying). Chevelle have always done their own thing and that makes them one of my favorite bands. ...

Alpha
Pros: Hard and Heavy as usual.
Cons: ?
Another quality album by Sevendust. The music world is buzzing with great reviews for their U.S. tour currently in progress. They are loud and they like it that way. ...

Three Days Grace
Pros: Very good quality music
Cons: Don't know
If you have not taken the time to catch up with these guys, I would recommend that you stop whatever you are doing and check this music out. I really liked this album. The music is good quality and it is something I would listen to often. I would compare Three Days Grace to such artists as Crossfade and Dark New Day. Great music for your collection. ...

Bleeding Black Label
1 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulPros: Still kicking @ss!
Cons: I would have to think about this one.
Another hit with Zakk Wylde and the Black Label boys. From guitar, vocals, to piano this man can do it all. Can anyone say heavy riffs and rock ballads? This album has it all. Enjoy! ...

Black Label Society
Pros: I loved it!
Cons: Somebody else doesn't love it.
If you don't have this music in your collection, what are you freaking waiting for?! Hello! It's bleeding Black Label all over the place. Zakk Wylde. I don't think I have to say any more. Go get it. NOW! Do it. ...

Black Stone Cherry
Pros: I liked it!
Cons: Somebody else doesn't like it.
OMG these guys know how to rock out. You will definitely be able to jam to this CD. It has an old school style to it, and it keeps you coming back for more with a unique sound that grips you by the b*lls. Watch out if you listen to this CD because you won't be able to do it just once. (Great drinking music! I would recommend having a few with this one.) ...
Army Of Anyone
Pros: All star cast of band members
Cons: Doesn't rock as hard as I thought it would
I bought this album after it's release. Although, after listening to it, I wished I had not of spent the money. I saw these guys in concert as well. They got booed by several people in the crowd. The only thing I really enjoyed was when they played Stone Temple Pilot or Filter songs. On the way out of the concert, I heard a lot of complaining about how they had sucked. Some people seem to enjoy this music though. Maybe it's just not my taste. This album is considered "pop" so, if you are expecting "rock", you will likely be disappointed. Songs that are okay from the album include, It Doesn't Matter, Goodbye, and Father Figure. ...
