Natural Born Killers (in my opinion)
Honestly I was like many of the negative reviews, in that Natural Born Killers is very incoherent and nonsensical. However, I was watching it on cable/satellite the other day, and decided to search for a meaning. After all nobody makes a film depicting this much realism for no reason. Well in my humble opinion there is more to this movie than maybe at first glance. It doesn't necessarily glorify violence one way in another, but instead serve a point of the preying media conglomerate
. It shows that the only people who glorify the violence are not the two killers, but the people and media who fall in love with the two lead characters. For instance dirty cop who kills the woman, just to feel what it's like to kill somebody. He copycatted the violence that was being shown around him by the duo killers. So it was showing, in my opinion maybe too subtle, a way for some viewers, the hypocrisy of how anybody can be fooled into loving murder. It's something that perhaps is less an issue in our post-9/11 time, but during the mid-90's it the issue was more timely. ... -

What happened Boyle?
3 of 13 Yahoo! Users found this review helpful So here I am with a medium pop corn, and what begins as a generally good entertaining movie. Well, no spoilers in this review, but I would like to post my distraught over this slaughtering of a potentially good horror flick. Allow me to attempt and sum this movie up for you, over artsy cinematics and less monster.
I'll rate it for you in fact...
Gore: 3/10
Plot: 2/10
..Ok, you get the point, 28 days sucks hardcore. Words may not sum up the shere crapulace of this movie. First off, I must say this for those die hard fans, as I am one, this is not at all compatible with one of Romer's living dead movies. This movie is soo tamed down of violence, and of zombies, that you'll wonder what you payed money to even see. There is, however, in the first half some addiquit scene of mild gore and cool creepy scenes. The second half, I don't even know how describe how horrible it gets. So I guess what I'm trying to say is, AVOID THIS MOVIE AT ALL COSTS!!!!! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT SEE THIS!!!! I cannot stress that enough to zombie fans across the country. BTW the creatures are not even zombies, as you'd find out watching it, but instead cheazy knock offs. Anyway that's my two cents. Had I not been so agitated I might've been able to more eloquently and coherently write a better review, but eloquent and coherent are not in the style of 28 days. ... -

1 of 3 Yahoo! Users found this review helpful I personally have only seen a sneak preview for BFC, but it looks very intriguing. Gwiazdon2k, wtf do you mean do research?? Why dont you give examples of Moores editing, and tell us exactly how hes twisting the information. ... -

Right On!
This was an excellent movie, despite what people say. I've never seen a comedy with that kind of realistic message attached to it. In many ways a lot of the shallow/good hearted people reminded me of people I know or have known in my life. ... -

A very very underated movie
I can't stand any regular movie goer who thinks that movies should be a specific genre, and everyone who's use to spoofs thinks, "Kunk Pow, hmm a spoof of martial arts movies." Steve Oedekerk did a good job of mixing both 1977 movie, Tiger and Crane Fists and his image- including new characters- into his comedy. Kung Pow- had a few elements of a spoof, ie the cow part/which is not that cool by my terms. For the most part it's that sort of off the wall brit humor that many love. If your a fan of MONTY PYTHON'S FLYING CIRCUS you'll love it. Although some parts were sort've boring, I laughed through the main bulk of it, and the bulk of it wasn't spoofs of martial arts movies- it was a movie in itself with it's own ridiculous story with hilariously off the wall humor! ... -

Why I think this movies so good.
It's not a typical movie for one. Freddy Got Fingered had an anachistic way of almost mocking movie dramatics, or life in general. Tom Green really went out on the edge to make it, and for that I have to give him credit. I predict this will be his greatest movie, I don't see him doing anything more original after this. Similar to Steve Martin's The Jerk, I mean the movies after it were good but just didn't have the same energy. ... -

Balanced only by the Ok Computer
1 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this review helpful Kid A may not have the commercial aspects of Ok Computer, but its' got a vibe all of its own. If your a true fan of Radiohead you'll love it too, and if your a stoner you'll also love it!! The album defenately intivates new music sounds. It's own unique perspective on music adds Radiohead's own brand of tecno to the mix of bizzare and interesting songs. ...

I liked!
Pros: WEEZER NEEDS ANOTHER ALBUM LIKE THIS ONE!
Cons: NONE!
Ja this is a really good album surprisingly.. Actually for a while admitively I ignored this one, but Pinkerton really is the best by far. After buying the green album, I think this one holds more consistency and better production than green, hands down. It might not have the pop value, of any of the others, but it definately is more enjoyable than the others by far. ...
